I studied geology at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, where I received my MSc degree in spring 2012 based on thesis "Chemical composition of Fe-enriched beryl from granitic pegmatites". Recently my research interest is in geochemistry/mineralogy of Carbonate scale formation in porous media. The goal is to carry out fluid-rock ineraction experiments which will provide additional information for CO2 rock sequestration and pipe scaling issues. This project is involved in Mineral Scale Formation (MINSC) Marie Curie Initial Training Network.
